Michelle Obama (Mrs. Barack) recently said that for the first time in her adult life she is finally proud of her country.  See the video here.  She said it not just once, but twice.  (hat tip: Gateway Pundit)

With the amount of ‘change’ that’s occured in our nation’s history, mostly for the better, and the amount of progress in civil rights, and the elitist life of privilege she now leads,  the endless number of good deeds our nation does throughout the world, the support we provide to our allies, the lengths we go to to help those in need, the heroic deeds performed by our military throughout history, she’s just now proud of her country?  Gimme a break.

Even with its faults, I am damn proud to be an American, and have been my entire life.
