The Obamessiah’s VP pick recently was campaigning in North Carolina and made a plea to voters to cast their ballots for Obama, not because of his qualifications and beliefs, but because he’s black.  After months of people trying to make this a colorless election, Obama’s own running mate has blatantly interjected the race card.  So now, if you don’t vote for him because he’s black, does that mean you’re racist?  Piffle and pshaw.

There’s no way in hell I’d ever vote for any candidate simply because of their skin color, be they white, black, brown, green, or plaid.  To cast a ballot for anyone primarily because of their skin tone is beyond idiotic.  That act alone would be racist, but don’t expect anyone in the mainstream media to point that out.

Should white folks vote for screaming communists simply because they’re white?  Hell no.  Choosing our leaders should be based on their beliefs and platforms and shouldn’t have a damn thing to do with skin color.  What ever happened to Dr. King’s dream that men should be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin?  Apparently that doesn’t apply in Joe Biden’s world. (hat tip:MM)

From Citizen-Times:

“Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden, campaigning in North Carolina where black votes could help swing the state to the Democrats, said today that electing a black person to the White House would be transformative.

Biden said the policies of running mate Barack Obama make his presidency even more urgent and declared this to be the most important election that any living person has seen in their lifetime. But he particularly singled out the meaning of electing someone who is black.

“That will be a transformative event in American politics and internationally,” Biden said. “That all by itself will be significant.”

Ridiculous and pathetic interjection of race where it shouldn’t matter one damn bit.  Maybe Biden is trying to make up for the time when he referred to Obama as “articulate and bright and clean?”
