Some Muslims are outraged?  Say it ain’t so.  In other news, water is wet and the sky is blue.  (Hat tip: LGF)

Naturally, this outrage is different than any other previous outrage, right?  Apparently the current outrage is not to be confused with the Norwegian TV showing the Mohammad cartoons outrage or the previous Danish Mohammad cartoon outrage, or the beauty pageant outrage, etc, etc. 

Here’s a little test… Do an internet search with the words “Muslims outraged” (be sure to put it in quotes), and then do a search for “Christians outraged,” “Jews outraged” and “Buddhists outraged” and note the total number of results.  Then perhaps you’ll notice something seriously outrageous.

A postcard featuring a cute puppy sitting in a policeman’s hat advertising a Scottish police force’s new telephone number has sparked outrage from Muslims.  

Tayside Police’s new non-emergency phone number has prompted complaints from members of the Islamic community.

The choice of image on the Tayside Police cards - a black dog sitting in a police officer’s hat - has now been raised with Chief Constable John Vine.

The advert has upset Muslims because dogs are considered ritually unclean and has sparked such anger that some shopkeepers in Dundee have refused to display the advert.

And the horrible mean-spirited nasty blasphemous postcard?…
